Formed in 2005, and residing in Los Angeles, California, heavy metal band Five Finger Death Punch is an international chart-topping heavy metal machine, with a Gold record to their name.
In the beginning, FFDP’s career moved very quickly, with the debut album “The Way of the Fist” being recorded by the end of 2006. They signed to a label called Firm Music, and released their first single “The Bleeding” prior to the album release on July 13th 2007. The album was later released on July 31st 2007. Their first tour was on the Korn ‘Family Values’ Tour, and then later, Disturbed on their “Indestructible” US Tour in the spring of 2008. Their campaign for their first album was finished with a bang, seeing the band play on the main stage at the 2009 Download Festival.
They didn’t let the speed of the train fall, as they went straight back into the studio to record their follow up album “War is the Answer”. It saw the band score the number 7 spot in the Billboard 200 Chart, and the first single “Hard to See” was released on July 21st 2009. The album was released later on September 22nd 2009. The band made the journey to Iraq to do ten performances for the US troops, and then shortly after, they travelled to Germany to play at Rock am Ring.
“American Capitalist” saw the band maintain the success that they already had, building on it, and touring their album. It was released on October 11th 2011, and was recorded at The Hideout Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada. This time, their release debuted at 3 in the Billboard 200, and by September 2012 was certified Gold. The release of their sequential album only saw the bands status grow exponentially with the release of “The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1” spawning the single “Dot You Eyes”. It was released on July 30th 2013 and peaked at 2 on the Billboard 200.
