Citizen Cope is Jack Johnson if someone shot him with a blues bullet and he was reincarnated. A blues Zombie!

'The Clarence Greenwood Recordings' would ultimately surpass as his best work. 'Bullet and a Target' really examples Citizen's song writing dexterity. His soulful lyrics and hooks get you tapping your toes and clicking your fingers without knowing. His jazz roots are infused with the blues so cleverly and effortlessly that they come together to create a cool pop tune, like Jack Johnson.
He is a well-acknowledged songwriter and producer as he has worked with many international acts including the artist Dido. His work has appeared an many films such as Ghost Town and his song 'Son's on a Rise' was the song used for the trailer for The Son's of Anarchy.
His music is soul driving, exciting, and engaging. He is a demon on the microphone and a devil on tour. And who can't resit those dreadlocks and well kept beard. I mean, come on!
